Following a Pre-Application on the site, Warner Planning responded to the feedback received from Dacorum Borough Council in submitting a full planning application to demolish an existing dwelling situated within a residential area in Hemel Hempstead and construct a 3-storey apartment block with nine two-bedroom apartments. The scheme was amended with additional windows following comments from the Council’s Conservation Officer and the improvements were welcomed by the Case Officer. The building’s high quality design included covered balcony areas to provide a private amenity space for each flat without intruding on the privacy of neighbouring properties. The Case Officer concluded that the application would make good use of redundant / underutilised land and make a valuable contribution to the Borough’s housing stock.
