Our Team

Meet the Warner Planning Team

Let us introduce ourselves and give you the chance to get to know us a little better!

Simon

Managing Director

Simon has over 18 years experience in the planning industry and at the beginning of 2020, he decided to start his own consultancy, which is where we were born!

Believe it or not though, prior to becoming a Town Planner, Simon had aspirations to be a weatherman. He even auditioned at the BBC!

Outside of the office you will often find Simon running or watching Norwich Football Club.

Katy

Associate Planner

Katy has 20 years experience in Local Government working within Development Management. During that time, she worked on schemes at all levels.

Katy brings an understanding of Local Planning Authority practices to the private sector to support our Clients as they navigate the complex waters of planning.

Interesting fact – Katy really enjoys foreign language films!

Billy

Consultant Planner

Billy has been working in the planning industry since 2017 and became a chartered member of the RTPI in 2021. Throughout the course of his career he has worked on a wide range of projects both in terms of scale and type, each presenting their own challenges and opportunities to be worked through.

Billy most enjoys the problem-solving side of Planning and working collaboratively with the project team to find solutions to challenges.

Fun Fact – Billy is a big fan of anything to do with theme parks!

Joe

Assistant Planner

Joe graduated from Swansea University in 2018 with a degree in Geography and has been working in Private Planning for 5 years, almost 3 of which have been at Warner Planning. Originally from Lincoln, East Midlands where he first started his career, Joe draws experience from working with multiple Local Planning Authorities.

Joe has a particular interest in the Economics of Planning, and he wants to continue to push for sustainable planning applications that have a better environmental future in mind.
